Partner Hospital in Kherson Struck in Russian Attack
[Тranslation] “Two floors of the surgery department, including the operation room, were struck and ruined. A young and talented doctor lost his life; this was his first day at work post-internship and it ended without having begun. A nurse was injured and is getting medical care now. At the moment, rubble is being cleared and patients of the hospital as well as hospital staff are being tended to. Psychologists from the crisis center are working with the people who suffered through this shelling.” – Tetiana Karchevych, Director of the Health Department of the Kherson Regional State Administration (August 1, 2023)
